Our projects in Cambodia, El Salvador, Indonesia and the US

Share As Received has worked in Cambodia (Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Dey Dos), El Salvador (Puerto Nuevo), and Padang on Sumatra, Indonesia. It also supports education for low-income children in the United States. The work is done with local partners, including a partner church, a missionary family and local nonprofits.

Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia

In February 2016, Share As Received and its partner church, GKI Monrovia, finished building a Mission House in Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia. It is a place for community children and families, offering homework help, Sunday School and other activities. It is one of two ShARe projects in Cambodia, alongside Kampong Dey Dos.

Kampong Dey Dos, Cambodia

We helped build two patios extending from a house. Village children gather there to learn, alongside a missionary family.

Puerto Nuevo, El Salvador

A ShARe representative visited Puerto Nuevo in February 2010. We partner with a local nonprofit that provides small amounts of working capital to families in need, and we support children's development.

Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia

After a magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck Padang, Sumatra, Share As Received worked with a local nonprofit to set up a small library tent for young children. It gave young children a place to read and learn after the disaster. It shows how emergency relief can lead into education.

United States

We also support education for children from low-income families here in the United States.
