Share As Received (ShARe) wants everyone to be able to use https://www.shareasreceived.org, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we’ve done
- Pages work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and descriptive link text.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and controls meet color contrast requirements.
- Pages are built to reflow on small screens and when zoomed.
- Motion is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we test
We check pages with automated HTML and color-contrast tests on each update, plus keyboard testing and a screen reader spot check when the site changes significantly.
Known limitations
- We are still testing with assistive technology. If you find a barrier, please tell us.
Feedback
If anything on this website is hard to use, please tell us and we’ll help you get the information another way and work to fix it.
If the button doesn’t open your email program, write to us at Share As Received, PO Box 2144, Monrovia, CA 91017, or see the Contact page.
